The Santa Barbara City Dump, also known as the South Coast Recycling & Transfer Station, is open to the public during the following hours:

  • Monday – Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The Santa Barbara City Dump accepts a wide range of waste materials, including:

  • General garbage (not sorted or recycled)
  • Mixed construction waste (concrete, debris, metal, drywall, wood, etc.)

  • Most major appliances are free. Refrigerators, freezers, A/C Units, and scrap metal are charged.
