Strongsville Dump Hours
The Strongsville Transfer Station, located at 16099 Foltz Industrial Parkway, is open to residents for waste disposal during the following hours:
- Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Acceptable Waste Items
The Strongsville Transfer Station accepts a wide range of household waste items, including:
- Construction and demolition debris
- Municipal solid waste
- Recyclables
Proof of Residency Required
Please note that proof of residency is required to drop off waste at the Strongsville Transfer Station. Acceptable forms of proof of residency include a driver’s license, utility bill, or property tax statement.
Items Not Accepted
The Strongsville Transfer Station does not accept the following items:
- Hazardous materials (e.g., paints, solvents, batteries)
- Medical waste
- Explosives
- Radioactive waste
- Liquids
- Grass clippings
- Leaves
Special Disposal Items
For certain items, special disposal procedures may apply:
- Appliances: Freon must be removed from appliances before they can be disposed of at the Transfer Station.
- Televisions: Televisions can be disposed of in the regular trash or recycled at designated electronics recycling locations.
- Carpeting: Carpeting must be cut into 3-foot sections and rolled and tied before disposal.
- Mattresses: Mattresses can be disposed of in the regular trash or recycled at designated mattress recycling facilities.
- Syringes: Syringes must be placed in a heavy plastic container, capped, and taped securely shut before disposal.
