Thompson Transfer Station Hours of Operation

The Thompson Transfer Station is open to the public during the following hours:

  • Wednesday and Friday: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
  • Thursday (Sept. 16 – Apr. 30): 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
  • Thursday (May 1 – Sept. 15): 11:15 AM – 6:45 PM
  • Saturday: 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Fees for Using the Thompson Transfer Station

To use the Thompson Transfer Station, residents must obtain a permit from the Tax Office at the Thompson Town Hall. The permit fees are as follows:

  • Annual Permit (issued November 1):
    • Single Family Household: $100
    • Second sticker: $15
    • Senior Residents (age 65+): $60
    • Second sticker: $15
    • Multiple Unit Permit (per apartment or condo): $100
