Town of Unity Landfill Hours
The Town of Unity landfill is open to the public during the following hours:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 2 pm to 6 pm
- Saturday: 9:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 6 pm
The landfill is closed on public and statutory holidays.
Fees
The landfill tipping fee schedule is as follows:
- Residential: $10 per load
- Commercial: $20 per load
- Oversized loads: $50 per load
Acceptable Materials
The landfill accepts the following materials:
- Household garbage
- Construction and demolition debris
- Yard waste
- Scrap metal
- Tires
Unacceptable Materials
The landfill does not accept the following materials:
- Hazardous waste
- Medical waste
- Radioactive waste
- Explosives
- Flammable liquids
- Corrosive materials
Landfill Rules and Regulations
- All loads must be covered or secured.
- Unsecured loads will be subject to a surcharge.
- Do not litter.
- Do not burn materials at the landfill.
- Follow all instructions from landfill staff.
