Warwick Dump Hours
The Warwick dump is open to the public from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Saturday, April through December. The dump is closed on Saturdays from January through March.
What Materials Are Accepted at the Warwick Dump
The Warwick dump accepts a wide variety of materials, including:
- Yard waste (grass, leaves, branches up to 8 inches in diameter)
- Scrap metal (all types except gas tanks, oil tanks, chain link fence, and propane tanks)
- Newspaper (place in paper bags)
- Bottles & cans (plastic, aluminum, and glass)
- Mixed paper (junk mail, magazines, miscellaneous paper, etc.)
- Mattresses & box springs
- Boxboard (cereal boxes, spaghetti boxes, empty paper towel rolls, etc.)
- Cardboard boxes (flatten before recycling)
- Textiles (clothes, sheets, curtains, etc.)
- Tires (remove rims before disposal; rims may be dropped off as scrap metal)
- Televisions & computers (old televisions, computers, printers, monitors, and any other computer equipment)
- Unpainted/unstained wood (no plywood)
What Materials Are Not Accepted at the Warwick Dump
The Warwick dump does not accept the following materials:
- Trash
- Hazardous waste
- Medical waste
- Radioactive waste
- Explosives
- Ammunition
- Fireworks
- Pesticides
- Herbicides
- Fertilizers
- Paints
- Solvents
- Oils
- Batteries
- Light bulbs
- Fluorescent tubes
- Electronics (other than televisions and computers)
- Appliances
- Furniture
- Mattresses
- Box springs
- Tires
- Construction debris
- Demolition debris
Fees for Using the Warwick Dump
There is no fee to use the Warwick dump. However, there is a fee for disposing of certain materials, such as tires and appliances. The fees for these materials vary, so please contact the dump for more information.
Directions to the Warwick Dump
The Warwick dump is located at 111 Range Road (behind the Mickey Stevens Sports Complex), Warwick, RI 02889. To get to the dump, take I-95 to Exit 11 (Warwick). Then, take a right onto Route 2 South. The dump will be on your left, about 1 mile down the road.
