Permit Stickers are Required
Permit stickers are required for all residents and must be adhered to the windshield of private vehicles. Woodbury small business permits are obtained at the Public Works Office, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
What Do I Do With…?
Residential Guidelines
- Household garbage: Must be disposed of in designated containers.
- Recyclables: Paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, and glass should be placed in designated recycling bins.
- Yard waste: Grass clippings, leaves, and branches can be disposed of in the designated yard waste area.
- Electronics: Computers, TVs, and other electronics can be recycled at the designated electronics recycling area.
- Hazardous waste: Batteries, paint, and other hazardous materials should be disposed of at a designated hazardous waste disposal facility.
Small Business Guidelines
- Commercial waste: Businesses must dispose of their waste in designated commercial waste containers.
- Recyclables: Businesses must recycle paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, and glass in designated recycling bins.
- Yard waste: Businesses can dispose of yard waste in the designated yard waste area.
- Electronics: Businesses can recycle electronics at the designated electronics recycling area.
- Hazardous waste: Businesses must dispose of hazardous waste at a designated hazardous waste disposal facility.
Other Important Information
- All materials must be prepared prior to entering the facility.
- All materials are subject to inspection.
- No full truckloads are accepted after 3:00 PM.
- Fines up to $100 may be levied per town ordinance for improper disposal.
