Yadkin County Solid Waste Facility Hours

The Yadkin County Solid Waste Facility is located at 1149 Landfill Rd and has the following hours of operation:

• Monday-Friday: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Convenience Site Hours

Yadkin County operates seven convenience sites strategically located throughout the county. These sites accept bagged household trash and single-stream recyclables. Their hours of operation are:

• Monday, Thursday, and Friday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Solid Waste Decal

To use the convenience sites, you must have a current Solid Waste Decal affixed to your vehicle. You can obtain or replace a decal by contacting the Yadkin County Tax Office at 336-849-7903.

The Yadkin County Solid Waste Facility accepts the following materials:

The Solid Waste Facility charges fees for certain items, including:

• Garbage bags: Free with a Solid Waste Household Fee sticker

• Electronics:
  • TVs and computers up to 32 inches (complete and intact): $6 per unit
  • TVs and computers up to 32 inches (broken or with missing parts): $10 per unit
  • TVs and computers larger than 32 inches (complete and intact): $10 per unit
  • TVs and computers larger than 32 inches (broken or with missing parts): $20 per unit
