If you’re looking to dispose of waste in Chambers County, Texas, it’s important to know the dump hours and other important information. Here’s everything you need to know:
Dump Hours
The Chambers County Landfill is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 8am to 3:30pm.
Fees
The tipping fee for using the landfill is charged at a rate of $0.025 per pound of waste.
What is Accepted
The landfill accepts a wide variety of waste materials, including:
- Household waste
- Construction and demolition debris
- Dry industrial waste
- Tires (auto)
- Yard waste
What is Not Accepted
The landfill does not accept the following materials:
- Hazardous waste
- Liquid waste
- Medical waste
- Radioactive waste
Other Important Information
- Residents with a disposal permit sticker can also utilize the landfill for larger trash loads, provided that the trash originates from their personal residence, and they transport the trash to the landfill themselves. There is no charge for residents with a disposal permit sticker.
- All dump trailers are subject to the gate rate charge, regardless of where the trash is generated.

Collection Station Information
In addition to the landfill, Chambers County also operates eight citizens’ collection stations designed for residents to dispose of their household trash. To access these sites, residents must purchase a disposal permit sticker, which is not applicable to commercial trash. Businesses and contractors are not allowed to use a residential sticker for dumping at these collection sites.

The collection stations are open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 6pm.
