Landfill Hours of Operation
The Clarkston dump, officially known as the Asotin County Regional Landfill (ACRL), is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The landfill is closed on Sundays and the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- 4th of July
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Landfill Fees
The ACRL operates with certified scales. Vehicles are weighed in and out, and the amount due is calculated by the pound for what is left in the landfill. The current landfill fees are as follows:
- Passenger vehicles: $10.00 minimum
- Trucks under 1 ton: $20.00 minimum
- Trucks over 1 ton: $40.00 minimum
What to Bring to the Landfill
When you visit the ACRL, you will need to bring the following items:
- Proof of residency (for Asotin County residents)
- A valid ID
- Cash or check for payment
What Not to Bring to the Landfill
The ACRL cannot accept the following items:
- Hazardous waste
- Medical waste
- Radioactive waste
- Explosives
- Flammable liquids
- Corrosive materials
