After obtaining the letter, please present it at the Harvey County Transfer Station. After scaling at Harvey County, you will be required to take the load to the Reno County landfill.
- Harvey County has required by resolution a Solid Waste Fee for residential and commercial businesses since 1996. The money collected from the fee goes toward maintaining and monitoring the Harvey County landfill. For residences, the annual fee is $36. For commercial businesses, the fee structure begins at $39. The fee increases based on factors such as the size of trash receptacle, the amount of receptacles, how often the receptacles are picked up and/or extra tonnage.
