Sarasota Dump Hours
The Sarasota County Landfill is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The landfill is closed on Sundays and holidays.
Landfill Fees
There are no fees for disposing of household waste at the Sarasota County Landfill. However, there are fees for disposing of certain types of materials, such as:
- Construction and demolition debris: $10 per cubic yard
- Yard waste: $5 per cubic yard
- Tires: $1 per tire
- Electronics: $5 per item
Accepted Materials
The Sarasota County Landfill accepts a wide variety of materials, including:

Landfill Rules and Regulations

- All vehicles must enter and exit the landfill through the designated entrance and exit gates.
- Vehicles must be covered with a tarp or other material to prevent litter from blowing out.
- Drivers must remain in their vehicles at all times.
- Materials must be unloaded in the designated areas.
- No smoking or open flames are allowed on the landfill property.
- Pets are not allowed on the landfill property.
