Recycling Center Hours

The Recycling Center is open to Town of Peshtigo residents only on the following days and times:

• Wednesdays: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Please note: Hours are subject to change. It’s always a good idea to call ahead or check the Town of Peshtigo website before visiting.

What to Bring to the Recycling Center

The Recycling Center accepts a variety of recyclable materials, including:

• Paper (newspapers, magazines, junk mail, cardboard)
• Plastic (bottles, jugs, tubs)
• Glass (clear, green, brown)
• Metal (cans, aluminum foil, scrap metal)

Please note: All recyclables must be clean and free of food or other contaminants.

What Not to Bring to the Recycling Center

The Recycling Center does not accept the following items:

• Construction materials (vinyl siding, shingles, insulation, concrete blocks, roofing, drywall)
• Commercial waste
• Automotive oil
• Hazardous chemicals
• Paint/stain cans (unless empty and dried)
• Plastic shopping bags
• Motor vehicles

Additional Services

In addition to recycling services, the Recycling Center also offers the following:

• Garbage disposal: $3.00 per bag
• Large item disposal: $30.00 per truck bed or trailer axle
• Appliance disposal (with Freon): $25.00 per appliance
• Metal or steel object disposal: Free
• Computer disposal: $5.00 per piece
• Tire disposal: $5.00 per car or light truck tire, $10.00 per semi-tire, $20.00 per tractor tire
• Yard waste disposal: Free for leaves and grass clippings, $5.00 per load for brush
• Mulch: Free for residents
