Accepted Materials
The Columbus Transfer Station accepts the following materials:
- Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)
- Yard waste
- Lawn clippings
- Woodwaste
- Brush
- Used oil (clean of contaminants)
Banned Materials
The following materials are not accepted at the Columbus Transfer Station:
- Banned materials (PDF)
- Wastes defined as hazardous by Federal and State regulations
Fees
There is no fee for Columbus residents to drop off yard waste and lawn clippings at the Transfer Station. However, there are fees for disposal of other materials. Please contact the Transfer Station for more information on fees.
