  • Saturday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Closed Sundays

What Can You Drop Off?

The Drop-Off Stations accept a wide range of materials, including:

  • Appliances (with or without Freon or other coolants)
  • Small lawn and garden equipment (drained of all liquids)
  • Electronics and computers (limit of two every six months)
  • Household chemicals and products (automotive fluids, batteries, home and bathroom chemicals, etc.)
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Free secure paper shredding (up to three boxes per visit, six boxes every 30 days)
  • Styrofoam

What is NOT Accepted?

The Drop-Off Stations do not accept the following items:

  • Commercial/Business waste
  • Landlord-based residential waste
  • Concrete, rock, dirt, and ceramic tile
  • Explosives or ammunition
  • Roofing material
  • Asbestos
  • PCBs
  • Oxygen, C02, butane, helium, or propane tanks
  • Radioactive items
  • Titled vehicles
  • Loose trash, leaves, grass, or other small debris
  • Food scraps (compostable materials)

Rules and Regulations:

  • Proof of residency (current water bill or driver’s license) is required.
  • Loads must be tarped, secured, or covered.
  • All small loose items must be securely contained or bagged.
  • All items and materials for disposal must come from the account holder residence only.
  • Children under 12 years old are not allowed outside the vehicle.
  • Pets are not allowed outside of the vehicle.
  • No smoking is allowed within the drop-off stations.

Additional Information:

  • Free mulch is available at all Drop-Off Stations.
  • Illegal dumping is a crime. Report illegal dumping sites by calling 817-392-1234.
  • Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) is accepted at the Environmental Collection Center located at 6400 Bridge St.
