Drop Center Location and Hours

Radford has one designated drop center located at:

1800 Park Road (Old Incinerator)

The drop center’s hours of operation are as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday and Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Sunday and Wednesday: Closed

Accepted Items

The Radford drop center accepts a wide range of household items, debris, brush, and large metal items. Here’s a list of acceptable items:

  • Household Trash
  • Yard Waste
  • Wood Pallets
  • Clean Brush (Under 8″ Diameter)
  • Recyclable Metal
  • Small Loads of Debris

Items Not Accepted

Please note that the following items are not accepted at the drop center:

  • Tires
  • Oil
  • Ammunition
  • Paint
  • Logs/Stumps
  • Roofing Shingles
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Large Blocks of Concrete
  • Large Loads of Bricks/Blocks
  • Dead Animals

Additional Information

  • The drop center is open to City of Radford residents only; contractors and businesses are prohibited.
  • The City of Radford reserves the right to reject any load brought to the drop center and to close the drop center before the posted hours due to overflow.
