Fees

Sunset Scavenger charges a minimum disposal fee of $60 per load. The rates for different types of materials are as follows:

  • Construction & Demolition Debris: $241.09 per ton
  • Greenwaste, Brush & Compostables: $241.09 per ton
  • Inerts, Concrete, Brick & Dirt: $241.09 per ton

  • Batteries: First 5 gallons per month are free. After first 5 gallons per month, $3.50/lb

Additional Information

  • All loads entering Sunset Scavenger’s facility must be properly covered (tarped and tied down). Any loads that arrive not properly covered will be subjected to a $20 additional fee.
  • Separate loads consisting of only non-commercial, California origin CRT, Plasma, or LCD display devices may be recycled at no charge. Non-commercial, California origin CRT’s, Plasma, and LCD display devices mixed with other types of solid waste being offered for disposal will be charged at the regular disposal rate of $241.09 per ton.
  • Commercial Equipment & Devices refer to any industrial equipment or device such as electrical, automotive or medical diagnostic equipment, and arcade or casino style games containing CRT’s, Plasma, or LCD displays.
