The Rose Hill Regional Transfer Station (RHRTS) is a waste disposal facility located in Peace Dale, Rhode Island. It is open to residents of South Kingstown and Narragansett. The RHRTS accepts a variety of waste materials, including trash, recyclables, bulky items, hazardous waste, and electronic waste.

Hours of Operation

The RHRTS is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays and the following holidays:

Memorial Day
Independence Day
Victory Day
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day (12:00 pm closure)
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day

Fees

The RHRTS charges a fee for the disposal of certain waste materials. The fees are as follows:

Trash: $10 per bag or $50 per ton
Recyclables: Free
Bulky items: $10 per item
Hazardous waste: $5 per gallon
Electronic waste: Free
